Exmouth Adventure Co is based in the small town of Exmouth, situated on the Exmouth Gulf coast approximately 1260km north of Perth, or half way between Perth and Broome, Western Australia. Exmouth has a population of approximately 2,200 residents, this number more than quadruples in the peak season – April and July School Holidays. The town is well serviced for its size, with a good hospital, school, police station, pharmacy, post office, Westpac bank, ATMs, 2 IGA supermarkets, quality cafes and numerous other shops and restaurants, including 2 award-winning microbreweries. With the influx of tourists and travellers during peak periods, accommodation and tours can be in high demand and are often fully booked; booking well in advance is strongly recommended.
Situated on the Tropic of Capricorn, 26 degrees south of the equator in the northern Gascoyne region of Western Australia, Exmouth and the sheltered, clear turquoise waters of Ningaloo Reef that lie adjacent to the rugged landscape of Cape Range National Park are perfect for sea kayaking and snorkelling. Our full day and multi-day tours travel into Cape Range National Park to access the coastline, about 50kms drive from town. However all tours depart from the town of Exmouth, and complimentary pick up and drop off to and from your Exmouth accommodation is included in all tours.
Qantas Airways service the Perth to Exmouth (Learmonth LEA airport) route, with 2 flights daily Monday to Friday, and 1 flight daily on weekends.
Learmonth (Exmouth) airport is 37 kms from Exmouth town. Airport shuttle services can be booked by contacting Exmouth Bus Charter, or Cabs On Call.
Who doesn't love a road trip? One of the best ways to appreciate the raw beauty, stunning coastlines and ancient landscapes of Western Australia is to take a road trip on the Coral Coast Highway. Australia's Coral Coast have put together some itineraries to help you plan the ultimate road trip here.
What about driving up and flying back? Avis Australia and Hertz Australia have heavily reduced hire car fees between Perth and Exmouth from 1 April to 31 October 2020 and 2021, including reduced one-way hire vehicle re-location fees.
If you like the thought of letting someone else do the driving, Integrity Coach Lines travel between Perth and Exmouth, and on to Tom Price (Karijini National Park), and Broome multiple times per week. Hop On Hop Off travel passes are also available. You can check out their timetable and purchase a pass here.
